Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, depending on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and other tools for gathering in order to provide attribute bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. The equipment being upgraded must have an upgrade slot that can accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be at a certain level. Some upgrade item s have special visual effects that appear when they are applied. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from Karma merchants, or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and received as rewards.
There are different upgrade components, each with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used on any kind of equipment; they provide smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on legendary and non-amulet items, and enrichments are able to be used on back equipment that has been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.
Insignias, enchantments, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia could change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and useful elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures and fractions, as well as ornaments as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus if certain conditions can be met.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of perspectives. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. item upgrading restricts the options to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
